Starter replacement was COST only. My husband is a mechanic and was able to replace it. It would have cost $300-$400 to replace at a standard mechanic.

Seriously thinking of trading this money pit in. I like it, but I don't know whether I should keep sinking money in it!

The starter and computer chip went out at the same time costing me and $1000 at the dealership. To think I bought a 1999 Se bring and now this lemon of a 2001 Se Bring.

Turned the car off at night.... went out the next morning and the car would not start... checked the battery and the fuses.... towed to garage .... STARTER FAILED.... this damn car had been treated with kid gloves... just a piece of #@$%
