Air bag light has come on and will not go off also, the cruise control and the horn assembly is inoperable. Consumer has not taken vehicle in to dealership to be examined. Consumer states the horn went out, as well as the steering column which locked and vehicle had to be towed into dealership and the parts had to be replaced, also the cigarette lighter does not work.

The Town & Country (T&C) minivan does not have a stearing wheel gear shift lock to prevent children from accidently shifting gears. You don't need to step on the brake to shift out of park in the Town & Country van. How did the safety commission allow Chrysler to get away with this" do we need to have an accident or have a child killed in one of these vans for the gov. To require Chrysler to install a safety lock on all of their popular minivans" I asked a dealer about this and they told me that chysler does not have a safety lock on its T&C minivans. This surprised me and the dealer, since many families do buy the T&C minivan. I think that Chrysler needs to install this feature in all of its popular vans! all I am asking for is Chrysler to install a safety feature that should have already been there in one of its most popular minivan series.
