The contact owns a 2004 Chrysler Town and country. There are four recalls for the vehicle's year, make, and model. The manufacturer stated that the VIN was not included in NHTSA recall #'s 03E045000 (equipment), 03E053000 (fuel system, gasoline), 04V386000 (steering:hydraulic power assist:hose, piping, and connections), and 06E022000 (service brakes, hydraulic). No failures have occurred at this time. The current mileage is 74,000 and the failure mileage was inapplicable.

Mechanical problems involving 2004 Chrysler Town and country. The vehicles malfunction indicator lamp illuminated while driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and returned the next day. After driving the vehicle 10 miles the light illuminated again. The vehicle was returned to the dealer twice after the initial visit for the same problem. The vehicle also began to malfunction in other ways. The speedometer would indicator the incorrect speed. The engine made noise when the gear shift was moved. The engine vibrated when accelerating. The brakes malfunctioned. The air conditioning failed intermittently. The dealer has not been able to permanently resolve the problems.
