TL -the contact owns a 2005 Chrysler Town & Country. The contact stated that while the rear lift gate was opened, it abruptly closed on the contact independently and without warning. The contact became pinned between the lift gate and the vehicle and as a result, sustained injuries to his back. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was 70,000. Kmj updated 01/05/13
