CarComplaints.com Notes: What the heck happened here? A year after getting our "seal of pretty good" for the 2004, Chrysler turns around and delivers this crapwagon.
This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Having purchased a new Chrysler, Town & Country minivan, in less than 3 years of ownership, I've had to make numerous repairs that I've never had to make on previously owned vehicles in the same lifespan of a vehicle. The quality of this van has been extremely disappointing.
The lights on my dashboard and interior lights continually flicker and adjust. When I took the vehicle to the dealer I was informed that all 2005 Chrysler vans have this problem and it cannot be fixed. They further stated the voltage meter is part of the powertrain and when the BCM communicates with this the power is adjusted. They have tried everything to fix this, but it cannot be fixed.
