CarComplaints.com Notes: What the heck happened here? A year after getting our "seal of pretty good" for the 2004, Chrysler turns around and delivers this crapwagon.

This minivan has problems ranging from rack and pinion steering failure to door locks that won't let you out. And trust me, you'll want to get out.

Town & Country V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 51,000 miles

Check engine light came on and stayed on.

Had my mechanic look at it and he said I have one O2 sensor out. Vsn still runs -- what's the point of replacing one O2 sensor for $700 bucks or more?

Town & Country Limited 3.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 62,560 miles

The problem is that i went to the Chry. TSB web site to search for this problem and none was found. Replaced the oxygen sensor several times to no avail. Finally bite the bullet took it to the shop. Was told that the only fix was to buy a Chry. sensor that a TSB had been issued by Chry. to fix the problem

Town & Country LX V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 76,000 miles

The check engine light is on and skipping with no power. When they put the car on the diagnostic machine, it says something is wrong with cams or something very very expensive to fix, replace or repair. Fixing, replacing, etc., does not fix the problem. This must be a very common problem with 2005 Chrysler products that only mechanics that do NOT work for Chrysler know about.
