The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler Town and country. The mechanic could not remove the valve stem when attempting to install new tires. The failure was due to years of the valve core breaking off the valve stem. The vehicle was brought to the dealer and two valve stems were replaced. The newer valve stems, which were made of pot metal, corroded after 40,000 miles. The current mileage is 55,000 and failure mileage was 45,733.
