When car was under original warranty, alternator failed and was replaced, at around 25000 miles. Now just days after the extended warranty mileage was reached the battery light has come on, and shifting with a "clunk", which was one of the problems when the first failure occurred. We have not had a chance to take it to a service center yet but expect it will again be alternator failure. Wondering if others have had this happen.
