Driving normally you would hear a loud clunk and feel when the van shifted. it was very rough. They addressed this problem when I had it in for another problem. Said I just needed a "reboot" since everything was controlled by a computer. I asked them if they knew about this why they didn't contact the people who bought their vehicles there to correct it. Of course no answer.

Town & Country Touring 306

The econ range was a goof up on Town and Country. After 3 attempts to correct the shifting problem was told "live with it", it is a computer problem. When there is no answer, it is a computer. If that is the problem, change it. Consumers are due reasonable answers to complaints like this cause it will result in loss of business and customers.

Today, I will not look at a Chrysler product to replace my van, I will look at competitors. Driving in or out of econ range does not make much difference but will admit it is not consistent so it is hard to evaluate so you can not drive around the parking lot to determine how it shifts.
