Our rear passenger sliding door will NOT lock when you hit any auto lock button. You have to manually lock it - making the poor sliding door function useless! And of course - that’s the only sliding door that works. The rear drivers side door stopped working 2 months after we bought it. It’s just really inconvenient with kids and buying a van for sliding doors... and not being able to use that door because you have to remember to manually lock it every time you’re getting in and out of the car. Pain in the ass!

Front passenger door will not unlock without hitting the button 3x on the key fob. The rest of the vehicle opens with one click. Just annoying that it doesn’t work properly and with Chrysler’s electrical issues in their vehicles.

My passenger sliding door will not unlock as of last month. Today, the window for that door will not roll down either.

The right side (sliding door) does not open on its own anymore. In addition, if you lock the doors using your remote control, the right side sliding door doesn't lock up at all leaving it dangerous for car jack to steal my van. Considering trading in this beautiful Town and Country for a Pacifica.

Everytime you operate a remote key operation or open or close the doors which may trigger automatic locking or unlocking of the vehicle - a loud buzz comes from the Passenger Sliding Door. The remote and interior button/switches work properly in opening and closing the sliding door - it may or may not lock and unlock it properly.
The Dealership Service Rep (second in charge) indicated he had a similar problem on one of his personal vehicles and just got used to it and ignored it - suggested perhaps we do the same because we have had so many out of warranty components fail in the past 18 - 24 months.
Since the locks are automatic and the operation of the door is automatic, We are very concerned that it may malfunction and open the door while the vehicle is moving. They told me that it was not a risk because it can't open when the vehicle is moving - I understand that if all of the components are operating properly they are designed to not open while in motion - IT'S NOT OPERATING AS DESIGNED - SOMETHING IS DEFECTIVE!

The sliding door lock and actuator need to be replaced. My mechanic got the sliding door to open but it makes an annoying noise whenever it locks or unlocks and it’s only a matter of time before it quits working again.
