I had a 1988 ford ranger, never had the ac serviced, sold it to a friend. to this day the ac will still run you out. I would have thought a newer car would have lasted longer. this is the 2ND ac system I have had to install, at 1200.00 a pop. Tighten up Dodge, you are doing a sh*tty job!

I find the manufacturers of this Dodge Avenger vehicle should be shot! The car is made up of PLASTIC parts which wear off after a couple of years!! I have been having one problem after another from the day I bought the car (5 years ago) - the handbrake getting STUCK ( the engineer at the dealers ACTUALLY told me a plastic part has to be replaced!!!); the front passenger window failing to wind up/down (even after repairing once it failed again!); the AC compressor breaking down - recent event and not repaired yet!!!

I wonder what's next?!?! How much more do I have to spend on maintenance for a car that is less than 10yrs?!?!
