The contact owns a 2008 Dodge Avenger. The contact received a recall letter in October of 2007 for the front door latch cables. He has been attempting to have the recall work performed ever since, but the dealer did not have the parts available. There had been no failure to date. The recall number was unknown. The current mileage was 6,500. Updated 04/16/08 updated 04/16/08
Notice of the recall was received via email on 11/14/07 and I have called 3 times since to schedule my vehicle for service so new part could be installed. Each time the dealership states that the replacement part is yet to arrive and I will be notified. I have yet to be contacted. No consequences have surfaced as of yet.
