Happened Again! When I turn on the heat, for at least the first 15 minutes, a very strong, strange smell comes through my vents. It smells like burning cement. It is accompanied by a little humidity. It fades after 15 minutes. It happens randomly. At least every 3 days. Sometimes it happens after the car warms up the first time in the morning. Sometimes it just happens after the heat has been running for a while. I took the car to DODGE and they can't find the problem. I am a female and I know the symptoms of a heating coil. They just don't want to fix it. I have two children, and one is an infant. I don't know if that fume is poisonous! So I turn the heat off and they freeze! This is not what you would expect in a new car!
