Avenger SE

  • Automatic transmission
  • 3,600 miles

A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

It pulls to right when I pass or accelerate, also power steering is raising hell, and the motor on the electric window's only work's when it want's to, on passenger side. Plus the inner plastic bumper under the outside bumper , keeps falling

Update from Dec 20, 2014: I forgot to mention that at a dead stop when I put the transmission in gear, I always make sure and be a a dead stop , before changing gear's. The transmission slams into gear no matter what.

Look, I really like my avenger. But I get nervous if anyone drives it and takes off fast, because this car pulls bad to the right when you take off.I rotated the tires at 15,000 miles and it did nothing to fix the problem. It just socks because it's dangerous.Well just thought I would let folks know, thanks jeff willey.

Avenger SXT 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 200 miles

When giving the car a lot of gas it would pull to the right and front end would act as though it was fish tailing. To me this was unsafe while trying to pass someone because you had no control over the steering or front end. Although I was told they did see a problem and found that it was really bad as well as told they adjusted the torque steer and did an alignment it still continues to do this. This is a safety issue and I don't believe their cure was a fix! Again 3 months old this car should not have issues as these!!!! Miserable miserable vehicle!

Update from Jul 11, 2013: Again, I'm told this is torque steer it is normal for a small car with a larger engine and all cars will do this. Dealer states to Chyrsler issues are due to Owner unfamiliar with vehicle.

Update from Jul 19, 2013: Although alignment was done and the steering did feel better for a short time within 2 weeks it is completely back to where it was if not worse. Not only that but the alignment that was done was not done correctly and my steering wheel was not lined with the wheels.

Update from Jul 31, 2013: 7/30/2013 another alignment was done at 6800 to correct steering wheel not being lined up with wheels correctly from previous alignment, This seemed to make a big difference.
