I had no clue what this notice means nor what it means. I took it to this garage and was informed that when I have my inspection the emissions test was most likely done. If I didn't get any feedback, then that means it wasn't a concern. I asked, why would the notice come after my inspection was done? The mechanic stated, sometimes notices are sent out late to drivers and it alarms the driver thinking something is wrong.
Today, 8/19/23 I am going to take my car to a shop, no appointment, request they do a full look over. I don't feel safe in this vehicle because of the steering, and recently during an oil change I was informed my pan is rusted and crossbar or something needs to be looked at by a more thorough mechanic shop. WTF does that mean, more thorough shop?
