Charger R/T 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 85,000 miles

I just replaced my motor in my 2006 Dodge Charger 5.7l that had less than 85000 miles on it, it cost me $4,200. My car ran hot and the engine blew and I ended up replacing it this month. The motor was replaced and we noticed the other motor trying to run hot also. After careful monitoring the problem we notice the fans on the cooling system were not working properly and had them replaced 2 weeks ago. My mechanic told us that the cooling system may have had a problem before and caused the first engine to overheat and blow. We ended up paying $280 to replace the cooling system. General Motors has been getting complaints for a long time about this problem, my car engine blew prematurely and they should reimburse my for my problems. I am the only owner and I have had my maintenance done like it should and also driving my car less than 10,000 miles a year.
