A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

I own a 2012 Dodge Charger SXT and these past two months I've dealt with the issue of my car not starting. It fires up fine when it's jumped, but once I shut her off I cannot get her started again. It's freaking annoying! I bought her used from a private owner about 7 months ago and I've already put in almost $6000 worth of repairs because the problems are never ending. And now I'm sitting on a money pit and my savings have been exhausted from constantly running it to the dealership for repairs! I've also had my recalls fixed...or not.... These dealerships are a freaking joke! I've never came out of pocket on recalls before but somehow I owed over $800 on air bag clips because the clips we not part of the recall but my airbag was....?! What the...??!! Whatever... Makes no damn sense but they threw the whole b*#$&Sh*## story about my children's safety if I didn't pay to have it fixed properly......so there went $800 into...I still don't really know! Perkins Motor in Colorado Springs at Motor City sucks Ass! Not to mention they swiped my brand new OBD scanner that I got for Christmas! Freaking ridiculous! When confronted they all had this stupid dumb founded look on their face. I will NEVER go back! And fyi....my car ran WORSE after getting it back from them! I wonder what they really did to my car because fixed is not what it was! And here I am with this issue and many more and no answers and no more money!

Charger R/T 5.7L Hemi

  • Automatic transmission
  • 95,000 miles

Initial problem started 6 visits ago. 1st push does not start indicator accessories and blank screen. 2nd start indicator lights go on and rpms, speed but car does not start.3rd start the car starts but the 1st 2 indicator lights and the 4th light go on (abs, seat belt) along with the brake light and service engine light and fcw off. This also happens during driving where it will go on and sporadically shut off. Been to deal 6 times. Now the car warranty no longer provides loaner car so I am paying money each visit.

Engine codes have read battery low, wrong oil, wrong tires. Dealer replaced battery and key fob did not work but cost me $300. Dealer found bad filter screen which caused the wrong oil code and that has gone away. ABS sensor replaced dealer said it was causing the tire to rotate faster than it should (dealer had just replaced all 4 tires and 1st tried to say I had wrong tire put on).

6 visits later I am no further then I started. Service engine light going off, car not starting, brake light, abs, and seat belt lights randomly turning on. 2 visits ago the serviceman did see the problem with the car starting however by the time he got the service technician was already gone. No code is indicating what is causing the problem. Now the warranty no longer covers the loaner vehicle and dealership has not fixed the problem I have spent over $500 and I am no further then when I first brought it in
