The contact owns a 2014 Dodge Charger. While attempting to open the front driver's door from outside the vehicle, the door failed to open. The contact had to enter the vehicle using the front passenger door. The dealer (towbin Dodge llc, 275 auto mall dr., henderson, nv 89014) was contacted and stated that the vehicle was not included in a recall. The manufacturer was also made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 115,000.
The contact owns a 2014 Dodge Charger. While attempting to open the driver's door, the door handle separated. The vehicle was driven to nyle maxwell supercenter (13401 N fm 620, austin, tx) where it was diagnosed that a screw was loose. The vehicle was repaired in may of 2017. The contact stated that the failure recurred eight months later. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact to call NHTSA. The contact had to access the vehicle by using the passenger side door. There were no recalls on the vehicle. The failure mileage was 42,000.
