Clutch and compressor failed. Hot summer. I drove to a couple of stores and the AC was working just fine. I came out of the store and cranked up the car and the AC it was blowing HOT air. Researched options online, and found lots of things to try before giving in and taking it to a recommended shop. They were so full of BS and wanted $2400 to do stuff that was not even the problem.

I finally had to give in and take to the Stealership. The service writer was not at all familiar with cars ,much less a Charger. He told me the blower motor had come off and hit the compressor making a hole! LOL. I said ,"you do realize the fan blower motor is inside the car and it is not possible for it to have penetrated the firewall and hit the compressor?" DUH. "Let me check again." I had called Dodge customer service to tell them the problem and that the car only had @ 32000 miles on it. They wanted a detailed report, so I ask the service writer for that. I didn't get it. After explaining the fiasco to the rep at Dodge customer she got on some butts at Stealership. Bottom line is the clutch failed and burned the compressor out. The R1234yf cost $261!

I am being reimbursed all but 200.00 of the amount I paid. Thanks Dodge customer service. However I am just waiting on the next failure on this car. I am not happy with the 2015 Charger.
