The seatbelt is clicked in the seatbelt light goes off and the the service airbag system light comes on.

The contact owns a 2016 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that the driver's seat belt failed. The contact was unable to release the seat belt clip from the seat belt buckle. On one occasion, the contact became trapped due to the clip not releasing from the buckle. The vehicle was taken to briggs Dodge Ram Fiat (3001 S. Kansas ave, topeka, ks 66611, (785) 246-8019) to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the seat belt clip needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure persisted. The contact stated that the driver's side seat belt clip was replaced six times. The manufacturer was contacted and notified of the failure. The manufacturer advised the contact to take the vehicle back to the dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was not available. The approximate failure mileage was 1,000.

Sometimes when I get in my vehicle and attempt to buckle my seat belt it doesn't properly lock in place. I've had this issue over 3 months. Sometimes it work and sometimes I have to attempt at least 20 times. Dealership wants to charge$175 judy to check it out.
