NHTSA Recall Number 24V-198 has been active since March 14, 2024, and in nearly a year the manufacturer still has yet to make a repair available. I spoke with the manufacturer today and the representative could tell me nothing beyond what NHTSA lists in its own website tracking the recall. Per the manufacturer there is no part available. There is no estimate for when the repair will become available. This vehicle is a police patrol car and I expect better manufacturer support for our peace officers.

Dodge sent out a recall letter 6 months ago. I have take my vehicle to the dealer for repair. They did not have an available part. I have been consistently reaching out to Dodge and they have no answer on when the part will be available. They are no longer responding to my inquiries regarding the replacement of this faulty part.
The side curtain airbags have a risk of rupture due to a manufacturing defect, sending metal fragments into the cabin. We are not able to drive this with our children without risk of injury. The vehicle wad inspected at a Dodge dealership May 2024 and they did not have the new part to replace the defective part. I received a recall letter from Dodge.
There has been an open recall for my car since the first quarter of last year for the side curtain airbags. I have written to Dodge a number of times as well as contacted my dealer. Dodge has not responded to my emails in regards to getting this repaired. It seems as though that it's getting swept under the carpet and nothing's being done about it. The way the recall notice I received said that possible death could happen in as a result of the side curtain airbags suddenly deflating and shrapnel going into the car. That doesn't give me too much confidence in my car and I feel in light of that wording I should get some sort of response from Dodge.
Airbag safety recall not being remedied by the parts manufacturer for Dodge/Mopar - Stellantis. This remains an unresolved safety issue extending throughout calendar year 2024. Local dealership is unable to repair despite multiple contacts due to part unavailability. Also contacted the airbag parts manufacturer (Stellantis) directly with a complaint. Assuming that Stellantis is being fined for each day that my car is not safe to drive? Hoping so! The wait period for the recall remedy is beyond reasonable. Passenger safety is a current at risk in my vehicle...

Received recall early 2024: Manufacturer Recall Number19B NHTSA Recall Number24V-198 Problem was supposed to have been resolved early 2024. Have not received any new information and according to website information, recall is incomplete but repair parts are not available. Can someone tell me if this is a serious problem and when can I expect the parts be made available to fix this problem?
I own a 2019 Dodge Charger, and it has an open recall for the airbag inflator, which poses a serious safety risk. Despite the recall being issued over six months ago, replacement parts are still unavailable. Due to this safety concern, I am unable to drive my vehicle far from home, significantly impacting my usage. Additionally, I used to rent this vehicle on Turo to generate income, but it has been delisted from the platform because of the unresolved recall. I am still responsible for monthly loan payments of $420 and insurance payments of over $400 every month which is causing me financial loss without the ability to safely operate or rent out my car. I have contacted dealerships multiple times, but the parts continue to be delayed with no estimated resolution.
