Consumer stated upper ball joints wore out prematurely. The protective coating broke, which allowed dirt onto the ball joints.......also, dealer replaced wheel bearing, and performed throttle body service.
Owner's manual stated 87 or higher octane should be used. When putting a meduim grade gas in vehicle overdrive stopped working/torque converter would not lock up, and caused rpms to increase. Rmps went up too high for truck. Consumer took vehicle to dealer, and they didn't want to do anything.
At 9500 miles the speed control sensor malfucntioned, causing speedometer to operate erratically. Dealership repaired this problem under warranty. Then, with approximately 61,000 miles on vehicle, speed control sensor has malfunctioned again. Consumer states that when the sensor malfunctions, the ABS and brake light silluminate, the ABS does not work, the speedometer works erratically along with all other instrument gauges, vehicle also stalls out as soon as the consumer lets up on the gas or have it in neutral.
While vehicle is being driven steering wheel pulls extremely to the right or the left, also, after vehicle is in park vehicle jerks forward, cause unknown.

While driving with cruise control engaged and going up a hill, vehicle goes past 3rd gear into 2nd gear, races up to over 5000 RPM which resulted in a collision. Took vehicle to dealer and they adjusted the speed control linkage, but problem reoccurred causing loss of control. Speed control linkage adjusted again, problem has not reoccurred since.
Ongoing problem with vehicle having following defective3 parts parts: 1. engine accelerates at high rmp when vehicle is started. 2. rear end makes unnecessary noise when driving. 3. when consumer applied brake, could hear air leaking. 4. front tire wearing uneven. And 5. replaced catalyic converter system.
