Summary
Flash: A/C and Drivability Improvements This bulletin involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with new software. Customers may experience any or all of the following symptoms/conditions: A noticeable reduction in A/C performance during hard accelerations. 25 - 50 RPM engine instability at idle. Hesitation in reverse at low speeds. Performance derate at high altitude (greater than 6,000 feet) or in temperatures above 90°F. (32°C.). A/C engagement Bump while accelerating at temperatures above 90°F. (32°C.). Surge during accelerating. Buck/bobble after shifting the transmission and/or accelerator pedal tip in/tip out.Updating the software will correct the conditions listed above.
