Dart 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 16,000 miles

The 2014 Dart I'm mentioning is the second Dart I've bought for my wife. The previous one had no problems, so I bought her another with many of the bells and whistles. And while the car performs nicely, I noticed the excessive wear on the front rotors early July of this year(2016). We bought the car in September 2014, and with less than 17,000 miles at the time I thought it odd since the earlier Dart with 28,000 miles, my 2010 Charger, and my 2007 Charger neither had or have this problem. In my opinion it is definitely a product failure and a pretty serious one! I got the same runaround twice now from a service manager about the covered up to 12,000 mile business. I bought the premium extended warranty for the car for her. So why isn't it covered? I will be calling Chrysler personally this week as I am pretty disappointed in the coverage for the premium warranty I purchased. Normal wear items I understand. But a rotor wearing this badly at 17,000 miles isn't normal. Let's talk real soon!
