This stupid car tried to kill me and my family multiple times. The engine would shut off at idle or at speed and do one of two things. At idle it would over rev itself and peg the RPM needle at maximum and flood the exterior top of the motor with GASOLINE!: turn key and shut off and GET OUT! At speed, ANY speed, engine would just shut off and No brakes, No steering, into the ditch we went. Again and again. In Europe it shut off on me at 115MPH on autobahn and we hit a concrete curb, spun three times through traffic, and ended up in a ditch. 115MPH!!! WTF!!! Dodge finally took the car to Holland and fixed it by swapping out the Turbo Air Vane. The TAV is a metal tube with nylon gears and an air flap inside it. It carbons up and presto... Stuck open or closed. I carried a spare from then on and always had one cleaned and ready to go. THIS IS A DANGEROUS CAR!!! BEWARE!!!
