My 2006 Grand Caravan with 60000 miles on it is rusting away at the bottom of the doors and along the rocker panels .We can't see clear through it to the other side yet, but it wont be long. I've noticed all the Caravans in our area have the same rust pattern on the bottom of the doors and along the bottom of the van. We actually replaced one door with a new one from the factory 14 months ago and it is rusted and bubbling the paint also. I thought it could be a chip spot but the rust is from the inside of the doors and not from chips with the door panels off the inside the whole inside of the doors is solid rust as it is all bare meta inside. I'm guessing Chrysler saved a bundle of money by only putting paint or sealer on the outside and if its not visible let it rust. As my daddy used to say and I quote... on a quiet night, you can hear the Dodge rust......

rust on the rear right wheel well

I was performing a spring detailing and noticed an area of bubbling and rust forming at the leading edge of the right rear wheel well. Really???? 6 years and it's rusting out already? I even had it dealer undercoated as a brand new never-driven vehicle. This really peeves me since you would think Chrysler knows how to seal its own vehicles properly. I will not be buying Chrysler again. I have been loyal and this is my 3rd Chrysler minivan, but each time, I am rewarded with a new set of crappy quality issues. I am buying Toyota next.
