While driving vehicle in a residential area at 20 mph the vehicle shut off (engine stopped running, lost power steering, lost power brakes and im guessing the air bags). Immediately checked the ignition and observed the key to be securely in the "on" position (it did not move to the accessory position). Was able to immediately restart vehicle. Took vehicle to Dodge dealership and they did not find any problem with the ignition. There were no error codes in the vehicle computer. Dealership suggested removing all extra keys/key rings...so did so. Approximately 2 weeks later, with only the car key securely in the ignition (no key rings, etc) again while driving in a residential area at 20 mph the vehicle shut off (engine stopped running, lost power steering, lost power brakes and im guessing the air bags) and almost ran a stop sign. Immediately checked the ignition and observed the key to be securely in the "on" position (it did not move to the accessory position). This recurring issue is going to result in a death. Dodge needs to address this issue immediately.

Was notified of the electrical problem of the ignition recall. Was notified that the product was on backorder and I am still waiting on the product to have this corrected before anything major could happen. I am very unsatisfied with the local dealership.

Last May 7, 2014, I received a safety recall from Chrysler, I visited the dealer and was told that they didn't have the part, and as soon as they will receive it they will let me know. Time pass by and I received a second safety recall, at that time I needed to take my car to the dealer to be repair and asked for the part, they did not have it yet. They disable the rear quarter vent windows to avoid problems. They asked me to call parts dept. To find out when they will have the famous part. Is been 8 months and nothing is been solved. How long do I have to wait" is that part so difficult to find"

Wife was driving car, was approaching a left turn off the highway into a side street and the engine turned off. She tried starting the car again with the car in park, with the key fob, and it did start again. Prior to this, when starting the car in the garage, several times it would start and turn off immediately. I thought it hadn't gotten enough gas to keep going so I just started it again. It might have been the ignition switch snapping out of the start position at that time as well.

My van occasionally will not start. I replaced the battery and soon after began having problems with the van failing to start. Then I noticed that the passenger airbag dashboard cover was open. Also, the passenger rear sliding door does not latch properly. I have tried using both the remote key lock and manually pressing the button to close the door. It takes several attempts to get it to close and lock.
