The Driver side sliding door does not open, and the passenger side sliding door does not lock. Both pose a danger in the event of an emergency or can cause an emergency when a passenger opens door in moving vehicle. The stow and go seats in second row do not always latch and can begin closing when a passenger is sitting on the seat.
the rear passenger side door will not unlock or open. upon searching for possible solutions, I found that this is not an uncommon issue. This is an issue as if there is an accident, the door will not unlock or open to evacuate.
The driver side rear sliding door does not open manually or by the buttons. The door is stuck closed and this is a huge safety issue. My 10 year old sits by this door and could be trapped inside. This is not ok.

One day it works, next day it doesn-??t. From what I-??ve seen, this is an on going problem which needs to be addressed. This can be a huge safety problem in a accident.

Drivers side rear sliding door will not open. Completely stuck shut and will not unlock manually or electronically. My child was stuck inside until I could open the other door.
The drivers side rear passenger sliding door is stuck in lock mode. The locking mechanism is stuck shut and cannot be unlocked either manually or with the remote unlock button. Therefore the door is stuck closed and can not open. It-??s dangerous that any backseat passenger cannot exit the vehicle through that door if they need to. Also, the passenger side door does not lock or unlock with the remote; it only locks and unlocks when the locking mechanism on the door is pushed manually. When the alarm is turned on with the remote, pulling this door open manually sets off the alarm when the door is pulled open. There were no warning lights or indicators set off prior to these issues. These issues manifested in September 2020.
The driver side sliding door will not unlock to open. I have paid 725 at a mechanic for an actuator and labor, when I got home the door still dodnt open. I took it to an auto body shop and paid $89 for it to open once after greased then it jammed again. Took it back to auto body shop after 4 hours of labor turns out to be an electrical issue. The passenger sliding door is starting to jam as well.. body shop said very soon it will close and not open as well.that's where I'm at now.. not sure if I want.to pay for an electrical issue. I've paid enough to come this far. So maybe this will save someone else the steps.

I own a 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan GT and my rear sliding driver side door just stopped working for no reason. It is locked in position and the door won't open. I got in the vehicle one morning and while warming it up I went to open the door and it just would not open. So I went to the dealership that I purchased the van at and they checked it out and told me that the left side sliding door lock actuator is broken.

My wife hit a deer going 70 mph driving northbound on I65 right after crossing the tenn. State line. The deer hit the front center and passenger front of the van and the airbags never deployed. The airbag lights came on and stayed on but the airbags never deployed. The fender molding was ripped apart, radiator was pushed into the the engine block, passenger light was demolished and pushed in to the engine compartment, all the electric warning lights came on except the engine light and the fender well was pushed back 1/4 inch and in 1 inch into the passenger door. A red lightning bolt came on and the vehicle stopped running. Tow truck came and they were not able to get the vehicle out of park.
Rear power sliding door stuck closed. The rear power sliding door appears to have no manual method of opening. When electrical components fail the passengers have no way of forcing open. The dealership had the vehicle for 2 days before being able to open the door.
