This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Have seen articles in newspapers regarding seat guide problems, but no technical service bulletins or recalls to date. Plastic mounting tabs on both headlamps have failed and headlamps are loose. Right headlamp housing also leaked and headlamps yellow with age and coating wears off.
The failure I have is covered under a recall for 1993-1994 models, recall #883. Dodge stated that my car is not covered, although the recliner pivot bracket indicated in the recall notice failed exactly as the recall notice stated for the vehicles covered under that document. I feel the 1995 Intrepid should be included too. No safety defect listed within summary.
