The contact owns a 2009 Dodge Journey. The contact stated that the vehicle would stall while driving at various speeds. The vehicle would also not start, intermittently. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where it was repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified and referred the contact to the dealer. Brake pads failed prematurely at 19529 miles (20% remaining). Rotors needed machined. Brakes should have a minimum wear warranty requirement. Also the front struts, tie rods and waterpump needed replaced.
The contact owns a 2009 Dodge Journey. While driving at 65mph the check engine light or traction assist light would come on and the vehicle would stop in the middle of the road. The contact would drift the vehicle to the side of the road. She would wait approximately ten minutes and it would restart, and other times the vehicle had to be towed to the dealer. The dealer ran a diagnostic test but there would be no codes showing and they could not duplicate the failure. The manufacturer was contacted several times and she was told whenever the failure happens take the vehicle back to the dealer for them to check the vehicle. The failure mileage was 39,500.
The contact owns a 2009 Dodge Journey. The contact placed the vehicle in park she noticed that the engine began to surge without the accelerator pedal being depressed. The vehicle was taken to the dealership where the contact was informed that the vehicle could not be serviced for the failure. There were no prior warnings. The current and failure mileages were 14000.
