For a car of 2 + years old, not even 40K on the clock, this was a really big problem for me, and all that the dealer had to say is that it sometimes happens. Now I'm sitting in a situation where the warranty has expired and the warranty on the work and new parts replaced on the Gearbox, which still has 8 months, will not be covered if something happens.
