CarComplaints.com Notes: The Dodge Journey got a major overhaul in 2011. Let's hope it's better than the first generation (2009-2010) -- it couldn't be much worse.
Had my used 2011 Journey for 3 months, driving back from Niagara Falls right on the QWE the transmission stuck in 1st gear, unable to use the Tip Tronic to shift, road side assistance would only tow my truck 35 km, had to pay for my towing. I took it to the dealer in Brampton (rude and not giving a damn) told its some wiring problem NOT covered by the warranty (NOT surprised). They told me their computer not able to give me estimate but they will call me, haven't heard from them.
I have to pay for diagnostic, repair , towing , taking a cab back home from the dealer and few days with no car.
I will never never buy a Dodge or Chrysler car again for sure, I paid for it, stuck with it, but lesson learned.
