Journey SXT

  • Automatic transmission

Once again been having the same issues with the functions on the steering wheel not working. Radio controls on the back of steering wheel work intermittently along with the functions on the menu option. When I brought it in of course that is when it decided to work and they could not duplicate the issue.

Journey SXT 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 48,000 miles

The instrumental cluster was ordered back in October 2014 and I have been given 8 ETA's on when I should expect the part. I have been told by Chrysler that the manufacturer is having problems designing the part. The same part has been recalled in the Dodge Challengers as this issue causes car crashes but there is no recall for the Journeys. I have a case manager through Chrysler that has now been fired and the new one cannot believe that I have been this long and the lack of comments in my case.

My car began with an issue where the cruise control did not work. It then went to an issue where the "service tire pressure system" indicator would flash and beep constantly (which was very disruptive). Now my "service AWD" light comes on daily along with my traction control indicator coming on and neither are working.....AND I live in snow country Central New York. I am beyond frustrated and my hands feel tied. I am not eligible for lemon law. The new case manager did mention that Chrysler does have a legal department. If the part is not shipped on Monday, as she is telling me the system is showing (as it has shown 7 other times), then I want to pursue something more. I do not feel safe in the vehicle and it does not even go through the snow or handle in it.

Any one else have to go through their legal unit?
