The latest problem with my 2005 Dodge neon is while driving down the road the car just dies without warning. Luckily each time this has happened I have been able to safely get to the side of the road and has the car started right back up. It first happened in March of 2010. Now November 25th 2012 it is happening more and more often. This issue is going to get me seriously injured or killed.

Honestly this car has been very very good to me... but not great. I bought it brand new off the truck with 8 miles on it. I take VERY good care of it, as I work in a Hyundai dealership in detailing. I'm not the smartest on the block but always change my oil every 2500 miles, other fluids and brakes and rotors pretty much is all I've done to it. A mechanic is always there to help me if I do have a ?. The camshaft sensor went on the car at about 20k. fixed under warranty. A year or two went by and then the weird problem... it started when I get in the car and it wont start, does nothing- I cant even hear the fuel pump prime. the lights and everything work... try it a couple times(20 seconds) and i hear the fuel pump and starts fine.Does this for about 1 time a week for 4 months(25 starts a week) was fine all winter.... and then starts again in spring.... now it stalls on me very rarely and wont start very rarely. Now I don't have a ton of money to waste on the non issue parts and seeing how it never acts up when a tech is near. Very hard to diagnose. I am leaning towards a fuel pump, fuel relay, very curious if any1 has any issues along these lines... do not want to buy a fuel pump for 150 if a 15 dollar fuel relay will fix the problem.... or neither of these are the issue!!!
