My 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup has a chronic case of cracked dash. This has been heavily noted from 1998 models through the 2004 models. This is extremely hazardous to passenger safety because if the passenger airbag should deploy the passenger of driver could be impaled by sharp shards of plastic from the fractured dash. These dashes need to be recalled due to this extreme safety hazard.
1998 Dodge Ram 1500 was involved in a four-car collision-mine being the third in the series. The truck was rear-ended which pushed me into the car ahead. The airbag did not deploy on either passenger's side or driver's side. Vehicle was totalled.
Was in a head on collision with the side of a Chevy Blazer at approx. 50 mph. No air bag deployment on my vehicle, and my wife was ejected out of the passengers window.
Consumer drove off the road when becoming ill the air bags did not deploy and the seat belts did not restrain passenger and driver in the seats, both occupants hit the windshield.
While driving 70 mph vehicle was involved in a head on collision. Upon impact, dual airbags did not deploy, and passenger sustained lower arm injuries.

While driving at normal speed vehicle was involved in a frontal collision, and neither of the air bags deployed. Also, seat belts failed to hold driver and consumer. No air bag light warning light appeared prior to the crash.
The vehicle was involved in a frontal collision while traveling 55 mph. The driver's shoulder restraint did not hold and caused consumer to move forward and hit the front windshield.. also, front air bags failed to deploy. The driver of the other vehicle was killed in the crash. The consumers truck T-boned the other vehicle on the driver's side.
The vehicle was involved in a frontal collision with another vehicle where the other driver was killed. The consumer's vehicle was traveling approximately 50-55 mph. Neither of the frontal air bags deployed.
On July 22nd 2002 I was stopped in traffic, a Ford truck hit me from behind doing 35mph. The impact pushed me into the car ahead of me it ended up being a 5 car pile up. In which my truck front and rear bumper was smashed in. I was thrown forward into the steering wheel causing severe pain days later. I was really surprised the air bags did not deploy. The rear drivers panel bent and also the transmission coolant radiator was smashed in.. it caused $3700 damages to my truck and $2500 to the car(Honda) in front of me.

While stopping at traffic light was rearended by another vehicle causing a chain reaction collision, and air bags did not deploy. 2 passengers and driver were injured. Vehicle was totaled.
