While in motion and in low gear, the transmission will slow down and once in a while stop. This happens at any given time.

When pulling fifth wheel trailer or going up a hill, transmission tried to find a gear or keep shifting back and forth until a gear was found. Also, engine will over rev. Contacted dealer who indicated to shift automatic vehicle like it was a standard. Consumer states the trailer is always pulled with the overdrive turned off and that the shifting problem is in any gear when the rpms drop, below 2000 rpms.

[rcw 1931183021(18)] we have spoke to many others with transmission problems who own Dodge Ram trucks. I understand now, thru hindsight, that Dodge trucks with this particular transmission are noted for problems.
