There have been 5 recalls on my Dodge Ram. The airbags may rupture in 2015, the rear axle pinion nut may loosen at the differential (powertrain) in 2014, again the airbags inflator may rupture in 2014, the wheel hub assembly (wheels) in 2010, also a recall for the after market replacement pitman arms (steering) in 2010. I have gone to my Chrysler dealer in las cruces, New Mexico; the Dodge dealer has been closed for a few years now. I have been told I have to have a notification from Chrysler/Dodge to have them just to take a look at it, much less fix the problems. Now there is a huge recall; this is now really gotten serious. Please help me as much as you can to take care of the malfunctions on my Dodge Ram as soon as possible. I have not taken the Dodge on long distance road trips for the past couple of years now. The failed components listed below do not show all the malfunctions I have listed above.

I have 2 active recalls on my P/U. I have contacted the dealer homer skelton Chrysler Dodge Jeep 7661 us hwy 51N millington, tn. At least 3 times the lastest being 7-29-15.I've been told I'm on a list awaiting parts. One of the recalls involves the drivers side air bags & exposer to heat and humitiy being. We have plenty of that in the mid South. Lately the vehicle has been making a load clump when coming to a stop. The truck will lock up and die. It hasnt done it while going down the road only when coming to a stop. No parts have been damaged yet but something is not right.

I took my truck to the dealership in elkhart Indiana for the recall. They kept it for a week and then said the part was on back order and they did an inspection and told me it was okay to drive. The next morning I reported to them that there was a vibration in the steering wheel and they told me to bring it in so they could see. On the way back, my drive shaft detached in very heavy traffic. Luckily there was a side road I immediately turned to. The vehicle was towed back to the dealership and I am awaiting a response. I feel as if this dealership either did not inspect or did not care that my pinion nut was loose. This could have cause a fatality because after my drive shaft detached, it was bouncing end over end in heavy traffic. Updated 9/28/15 upon completion of the re-work, I noticed slipping in the rear. I immediately returned the truck once again and found them very unwilling to listen and accusatory that I had done something to cause the damage. The result was that they had put the wrong differential fluid in the rear end. Upon completion, the truck performed normally. Updated 10/13/15

I have made contact with local car dealer Laredo Dodge located at 6320 bob bullock loop, Laredo, Texas. 78041. Phone 956-267-8830, to fix the two recalls on my Dodge Ram slt 1500 2005 truck and after they making the appointments, they continue to claim there are no parts to fix these two open recalls and that they will let me know in the future. That's the same thing they told me two weeks ago. They even called me to let me know not to forget and bring my truck for the two open recalls and when I get there...there are no parts available.

I received two recall notices for fixes on my 2005 doge Ram. I have had this vehicle for one year. The recall notices are for defective airbag inflator housing and a rear axle pinion nut. In the rec all notice I was informed there is no permanent fix for either of these problems. Both defects could cause injury or death. I want Chrysler to take this dangerous vehicle off my hands and reimburse me for the $12,000 I paid for it a year ago. Because of these dangerous situation I will not drive this vehicle and cannot afford to buy another. I feel Chrysler should take this dangerous vehicle off my hands and reimbursed me for what I paid for it so I can purchase a vehicle that is safe to drive!
