tipm - no drivers side lights when towing

This part is the hardest to find, if I get it from the dealer it will probably cost me over $700. I can't even find it online so that I can change it myself. I can't even find my vehicle thru the VIN number. This problem causes me difficulties because I'm always towing something, from my boat to my camper. Without tail lights, or blinkers could be a problem.

Ram 3500 Diesel

  • Automatic transmission
  • 33,554 miles

Clearly well documented on the web. Millions of vehicles affected. I am lucky to find out before spending a thousand to troubleshoot and $800 to fix. I can fix a bypass relay just to get my headlight back but what part of this electrical computer is going to go next, from what I read.
