Additionally, the contact stated that she had noticed a fluid leak on the rear passenger's side interior door. The vehicle was taken to New Canaan Auto Body Inc., where it was diagnosed that the windshield wiper motor had failed, and the windshield washer fluid was leaking on the rear passenger's side interior door. The contact stated that additional diagnostic testing was being performed. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 49,000.
