Another annoying issue that is GUARANTEED to break and need fixed are the front & rear bushings on these Explorers. I replaced the rear ones 2x with factory and they keep breaking out. JUNK, JUNK, JUNK!! Now I find out that Autozone sells life-time warranty on their version. So I put those. . . we will see what happens.
The truck drive completely different when the front or rear ones are out. . . you can tell as it makes a nasty clunking noise where the bolt rattle around in the holes with no bushings. Then again FORD, why would you use such an inferior product when better parts are available. Seems you have a repeated pattern junk parts used and causing people huge headache to fix them w/ added expense as ridiculous low miles. I WOULD NOT BE COMPLAINING IF I had 120k miles or worked on major construction sites/ off-roading, but I do just normal driving.
