I purchased the Sony Premium sound system for my truck wanting the best system they had to offered. The sound is very good for a factory system but I have been having a persistent problem with the stereo settings not holding. The dealership has already replaced the head unit but whenever I set things like bass, treble, fader, and speed compensation they randomly reset back to factory when I get back in the truck later. The strange this is all off my presents hold just fine and it doesn't lose all of the settings at once. Some days I can get in the truck and all of the setting the fader is set to full front instead of balanced. Other times it will reset the speed compensation control back to off. Other times it will hold the settings for weeks without problems. The dealership thinks it could be an electrical problem but considering the randomness of the problem it could be in the shop for weeks without being fixed. My best solution at this point now is to just live with it.
