This issue effect vehicles with dual climate control. One side (passenger) gets cold air, no matter what the setting. Drivers side works perfectly. The blend door has failed. The part is cheap, under $50, but the whole dash has to come out to refit it. This is very labor intensive $$. And if you don't have a good mechanic, you'll have dashboard squeaks the rest of your life.

blower motor stays on high - heat on driver side air on pass

The minute I told the dealer what was happening he said OH YEA......the something, something is sticking happens all the time.......Happens all the time to me indicates it is a Ford problem. But guess what NO RECALL. I ask how much would it cost to have it fixed. Well it depends in if we have to take the dashboard out or not. You are absolutely at their mercy. I have 3 Ford trucks maybe time to consider something else.
