You feels a clunk as you take off from a light or stop like the transmission is downshifting again although you are already in 1st gear. I found a video on Youtube (will not post on this site for some reason) that describes and shows the problem...the splines at rear end go dry and stick, then break loose as you take off causing the clunk. My dealer service says yes they are fixing those, lots of 2011 and 2012 F-150's have this problem. Here is the video link.
