I have an open recall that has not been fixed. I-??ve been reaching out to my nearest ford dealership and all I get back is the part is-??ordered-?? or still on -??back order-??. I-??ve been waiting since December for this to be resolved and still nothing. I bought the truck in November and immediately had it looked at. Now anything after market wheels/tires/supsension or lifts no shop wants to be liable or comfortable working on my truck until the recall is complete.
Truck is burning oil. Talked to over 5 dealerships and they says it-??s a problem that they know about and are waiting for ford to recall a section of the engine. Heard in Naples Fl all sheriff trucks are doing it and burning excessive amount of oil
On 1/6 2026 and again on 1/19/2026 the vehicle camera display turned blue while the vehicle was operating in reverse. The camera eventually returned to normal operation. The condition cannot be reproduced on demand.
I received the first recall notice last May, 2025. Safety recall notice: 23S65 - 9.75" Rear Axle Bolt Breakage. No dealer within 3 hours driving has the parts for the repair 8 months later! And, they have no idea when (or even if!) those parts will be available. Once a safety issue is identified and a recall notice sent out, what time frame does the manufacturer have to make those repairs? It has been over 8 months - that is unacceptable. xxx INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
-??"When driving on Interstate 15 in Draper/Bluffdale, external electronic interference forcefully disconnects the vehicle's infotainment and safety displays. This causes the main screen to go black, reboot, or freeze while moving at highway speeds (70+ MPH). This creates an immediate distraction hazard and disables navigation instructions during high-speed traffic flow. The vehicle's shielding is insufficient to protect the driver from this predictable external interference, leading to a recurring safety hazard in a known dead zone."

I was driving on highway at 60 mph when drivers side rear window suddenly shattered. It was very confusing what was going on until my wife said that the window shattered. Luckily, no on was in that seat since there was glass everywhere. I dont believe anything hit the window, there was no indication something was wrong intil the shatter noise.
I first received notification from Ford concerning this Safety Recall but despite calls to numerous dealers throughout the area no parts as as yet, January 5th, are available to make the repairs. It has been 8 months since the Safety Recall was sent out. This is well past a reasonable time for Ford to have the parts available.
I was notified that my Truck has a safety recall and immediately reported this to Frontier Ford via email on 8/18/25 per the service advisors request. Frontier Ford [XXX] [XXX] It's now been 4 months and I'm still waiting for the replacement part. I've been told by the service advisor that it is ok to drive my truck, unless I hear any noise from the axle. No inspections have been done. I'm concerned about safety I don't want to overreact, but at the same time it's been 4 months. Please advise. My F150 2023, while driving at slower speeds on four different occasions while applying the brakes, the truck will start accelerating all on its own! I contacted a ford dealer and they verified on their end that the truck has done this. I have also read from other owners having this same situation.
Transmission making whining noise. Started making whiny noise at 14,000 miles. Currently has 18,000 miles. Complained to the dealer, but dealer said that this type of transmission makes this kind of noise and it is normal. Which is not normal from everything that I-??m reading. It-??s basically the transmission is failing and it-??s just a matter of time before it quits completely. I will attach a note from the dealer.
The camera/ screen doesn-??t always come on when you start the vehicle. Sometimes I start the truck and then put it in reverse but the camera does not display in the screen. At times the screen doesn-??t turn on for several minutes after I-??m driving.
My wife went to back out of our driveway. She was on the side of the driveway in some stones. She put the F150 into 4 Wheel High which she has done numerous times. She shifted the truck into reverse with her foot on the brake and the truck accelerated and hit a tree 10' away from the rear of the truck, The truck has been taken for evaluation. I have to report my truck accelerated on its own. I called Ford Motor twice and was on hold for an hour with no luck. There were no warnings at all on the dash. Insurance Adjuster looked at it and told me to have it towed the the body shop for further evaluation. My wife was hurt and a contractor was standing in the are near the tree. The Truck is now at SJM Auto in Sugarloaf
Ford is aware of an issue on the 2023 Ford F150 with Pro Power Inverter. When the inverter turns on, the RF frequency emitted blocks the tire pressure sensors from sending their signal creating a fault. Dealers are recommending that owners replace their sensors rather than performing the fix. In many cases the vehicle is now out of warranty requiring customer to pay for the fix.
Spontaneous shatter of the entire rear glass, outward, when shutting the rear door. There was no crack in the glass. The truck is still under full warranty but Ford will not even respond at this point. As you can see from the photos, the glass blew out backwards. A google search and forum search indicates there could be a recurrent issue with the Ford vehicle.
Moonroof Wind Deflector Detachment -?" Request for Inspection/Assistance.writing to report a recurring issue with the moonroof wind deflector on my 2023 Ford F150 Platinum Series. On two separate occasions, the deflector has detached while I was driving under normal conditions, at highway speeds. with no visible damage or signs of wear prior to the incidents. First occurrence June 2024 while driving up an on-ramp to highway estimated speed 45 mph entire part detached from my vehicle, was ran over by semi truck following behind my vehicle. My Vehicle was under warranty part was replaced by Ford dealership On [XXX]. Second occurrence July 2025 while driving in heavy traffic on interstate, estimated speed 60 mph. Entire part detached and struck the vehicle behind me. A manufacturer part flying off your vehicle once is a freak incident. safety issue. This has raised concerns for me regarding the safety and durability of the moonroof air deflector. because of the risk of damage to my own vehicle, but also due to the potential hazard it poses to other drivers on the road. A detached part at highway speed could easily cause an serious accident or injury. The part appears to be inadequately secured to withstand wind forces during normal operation. i believe this may point to a design or Manufacturer flaw and should warrant further investigation. Please let me know if you require any additional information. I would be happy to provide. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
The rear axle hub bolt was found to be broken off, same as the other recalled vehicles from this manufacturer. I have been waiting over 2 1/2 weeks for my vehicle to be repaired with no parts in stock yet and no loaner vehicle.
While driving my 2023 Ford F-150 XLT through a parking lot at low speed, I attempted to stop and shift into reverse to avoid a tight turn between parked vehicles. With my foot firmly on the brake, I shifted into reverse-?"though the gear shift was abnormally resistant. The system indicated the vehicle was in reverse. Despite keeping my foot on the brake, the truck suddenly and forcefully accelerated on its own, overriding my braking input. It collided with two parked vehicles before I was able to bring it to a stop by turning off the engine. The vehicle continued to accelerate even while I applied firm pressure to the brake pedal, which depressed all the way to the floor and failed to stop the truck. At no point did I press the gas pedal. After impact, the gear shift remained in reverse with a blinking red light. No airbags deployed. This was an extremely dangerous situation that could have seriously injured someone had they been standing nearby. Additionally, for some time leading up to the incident, I noticed increasing difficulty shifting gears even with the brake fully depressed. At times when in park the light for other gear modes would turn on.??Indicating the vehicle may be in another mode other than park.??The brake pedal has also felt inconsistent, often requiring unusually deep and forceful pressure to stop, whether on highways, city streets, or in parking lots. This appears to be a critical failure of both the braking and transmission systems. I am extremely concerned for my safety and that of other Ford drivers. I am requesting a formal investigation into this matter
Told by Ford to create this incident to have my 2023 F150 Lariat added to the Ford FSA list for missing Heated steering -- Heated Steering Wheel Performance Upgrade 22G06. The vehicle matches all of the Affected Vehicles information but was not included on the for FSA list.
