A repair that was not covered under extended warranty, even though Ford has issued a traffic safety alert on this situation. A year later had a second injector blow. At that time had all hold down brackets replaced.

NOW!!! This is the THIRD time this has occurred!!!! Driving along and the truck starts running rough. Go home. Call garage, because, at this point, this is old news. Have to have the truck towed to the garage. Totally pissed off that this is not a recall item. They have replaced the old fuel injectors with new, improved fuel injectors...so, obviously, this is a problem.....and, of course, NOW, the warranty has expired. We will NEVER buy another Ford vehicle again! VERY VERY VERY unhappy about this.

My husband was on his way to work.....once again!!! This is the second time!!! The truck loses power, diesel fuel spraying all over the place. Has to have it towed to garage. I have to go pick him up. Bring him home to get our other vehicle...luckily, we have an extra vehicle, but, this makes us BOTH late to work!
