Apparently there is a problem with the DEF fluid thing AGAIN! On one of our 2012 Super Duty trucks the DEF thing made the check engine light come on. Ford Dealer checks it out and the problem is the heater in the DEF fluid. It is not working properly so the truck could shut down the engine and leave you stranded.
Oh that really sucks, I guess we better get that fixed. I wonder what that will cost me?
Well Ford is not really sure what it will cost me because they CANT EVEN GET THE PART!!!
We have been waiting for 4 weeks now and we are told that it could be sometime in MAY when the part comes in. THAT IS 3 FREAKIN MONTHS TOTAL!!!
THIS IS A WORK TRUCK! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GO TO WORK FOR 3 MONTHS WHILE THEY TRY TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE SOME STUPID PART FOR THIS FREAKIN DEF FLUID THAT I DONT EVEN NEED ANYWAY. THIS IS BUUUULLLLLLLSHHHHHIIIIIIITTTTTTTT FORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now just waiting to see how many of our other 7 Ford work trucks decides to have this problem. I hear there are over 150 trucks in the country right now waiting on this same part. Seems like a recall is in order.???
