All of a sudden, out of nowhere, the electrical functions of the car went to sh*t. Cascading failures, I think the term is. One night at random the trunk opened and never shut again. After paying $300 for a new trunk latch, they figured out it was the electrical function which was telling the car to open the trunk everytime it closed. Internal lights started about 4 days after trunk. Then, within another week, the car stopped locking entirely--it would unlock as soon as you pressed the lock button, whether from the key or from the inside of the car. Lastly, about 2 weeks after the trunk problem started, the windshield wiper motor completely stopped working, making it undriveable in rainy conditions or if windshield fogged up. Fuses were checked and all looked normal. This was the final straw on this car for me and I sold it to a junker.
