It stalls frequently in first gear when you first start driving. It is really slow to get car moving as you are getting onto the highway. Going up a steep incline, would not go out of 1st gear at 20 mph, each time tried to it stalled. I feel transmission shift is rough as well. As far as starting issue, twice on really cold evening I went to my car and tried to start and it made a continuous clacking noise. After 10-15 tries it finally started. Ford said nothing wrong with the car.
