This car is the worst Ford ever produced the 1st generation Five Hundred seemed like a decent car till a few years owning it pre-owned it developed some electrical problems. I kept seeing a data link loss message that would come up on the dash. Another instance I had a flat tire and put on the spare the car went into limp mode and limited too 30 mph under power with the same message data link loss on the dash. I got the tire patched up and put back on the car then the problem went away. A few more months down the road the car had another electrical problem with the climate controls the whole module was bad cost was around $400. I later found out it was from the stupid sunroof leaking inside the car. ((DON'T EVER BUY A FORD WITH A SUNROOF OPTION)) Even with the stupid drain hoses unclogged it still drain inside the car under the floor and guess where the computers are sitting, right under your seats. You'll never get the mold smell out unless you ozone it. This was a good car for the time being but I knew it was a lemon right off the lot.
