2006 Ford 500. No warning about the engine going bad. Car just started shaking and loss of power and then engine light came on. Oil changes made at the dealership and last person to service the car never mention any engine problem. I am so upset, my car only had 82,000 miles well taken care of, I thought I had a good car. Just had the throttle body fixed last year, this was under recall. This is a major problem.

I have been without transportation for about 2 weeks with no money to get car repairs, especially a new engine. Not sure if I will ever buy a Ford again. This is the second Ford I have had and had a major problem with. Before this car I had 1995 Ford Explorer, transmission went out 2 times, this is ridiculous.

Please give me some feed back. This repair costs a lot of money, I have an estimate for about 3-5K. This car is paid off, can't afford car payment. I really though Ford was better than this.
